Dan Roberts has trained numerous international athletes and professional sports people with outstanding and measurable results. His expertise developed through three avenues. Firstly, his extensive study, as shown by his internationally prestigious qualifications. Secondly, his own personal sporting experiences and thirdly, and most importantly, his extensive and varied coaching experience. Dan Roberts has a proven track record of getting impressive results for any sports person, from a weekend athlete to a seasoned elite professional.
Fitness Qualifications Dan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association of North America (NSCA). He has also studied at the C.H.E.K Institute, the Australian Institute of Fitness, SAQ International, the American Council of Exercise and at UK Athletics. Dan has also led numerous seminars to Personal Trainers and Sports Coaches, teaching them how to develop specific elements of fitness in professional athletes. Dan employs cutting edge methods which are at the forefront of professional athletic conditioning. Personal Sporting Success Dan has been a competitive sportsman all his life. He has a deep understanding of what it takes to be a top athlete. He has captained Kent University's Tennis 1st Team and Lacrosse Team. He has represented England at Lacrosse (World Inter-Cross Championships, France, 1999) and beaten in competition a sub 400 ranked ATP Tour Men's Tennis Pro. (Monticello, USA, 1998) Dan maintains a very high level of total body conditioning by regularly partaking in ultra-marathons, rock climbing, strength training and athletics. Coaching Experience From the mid to the late 1990's Dan worked as the Head Tennis Coach and Head (Co-Ed and Women's) Lacrosse Coach for both Kent University and Kings School in Canterbury. Also during this time Dan coached in the USA for two seasons. He was a Men's Lacrosse Coach and a Tennis Instructor at Kutshers USA, known as the best Sports Academy in North America. Soon after, whilst living in Australia, he began formal studies into behavioural psychology, fitness, nutrition, executive coaching and peak performance. He has since spent a considerable amount of his time working with and training high-level competitive athletes from many different disciplines. Dan worked for three years as a resident Sports & Exercise Specialist at LA Fitness and worked as a Strength & Conditioning Coach at an American Football Training facility in New York. As a Personal Trainer he has individually trained hundreds of people to function and perform better. Dan also has qualifications and experience in Stress Reduction, NLP and Life Coaching, he is therefore able to offer many tried and tested psychological tools to help his clients set goals, be motivated and get in the Zone.
