Fight Training

Dan regularly teaches beginners and intermediates the technical side of Muay Thai  - Thai Kick Boxing.

Dan has personal experience in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Karate, Tai Chi Chuan, Kendo and Self-protection. In 2009 Dan took a few months off Personal Training to further his studies into the combat art of Muay Thai. Dan lived as a full-time professional fighter in Southern Thailand; training 40+ hours a week for 3 months under the guidance of national, stadium and international champions.

Originating from a brutal set of ancient battlefield combat techniques called Muay Thai Boran; Muay Thai is considered amongst the cage fighting and street fighting community to be one of the most aggressive and efficient systems of stand-up fighting.  Topics covered in Muay Thai workouts include the use of punching, elbows, knees, kicks,  leaping attacks, grappling, counter attack combinations and defending. Training is done using pads and bags. Dan has the coaching expertise, knowledge and experience to offer high quality, fun, non-intimidating and safe tuition.
























In 2010 Dan personally wrote the course manuals, syllabuses and exams for a nationally certified course for those wishing to coach Muay Thai professionally.

Since returning from Thailand, Dan has  been hired as a Personal Fight Trainer in Singapore, Abu Dhabi and London. When suitable Dan occasionally incorporates drills from Boxing, Self-defense and Muay Thai into his clients personal training sessions. Fight Training is also a popular activity during his Bootcamp Fitness holidays.
