Since 2002 ‘Dan Roberts Training’ has been a successful Personal Training & Fitness Consulting company. We are a small team that offer friendly, discrete, exclusive and a truly world-class level of Personal Training at your home (in Notting Hill, Knightsbridge, Kensington and Chelsea), and in the fresh air of Battersea Park, Kensington Gardens, Green Park and Primrose Hill. We also use three exclusive private gyms around central London. In addition to training in London, we run unique, luxurious and intense fitness holidays in Miami, LA, Rio de Janeiro and Marrakesh and offer various educational and mentoring services for other Personal Trainers wishing to learn and gain more success within the industry. If you hire us, you will also benefit from our close working relationships with some of London’s finest Dietitians, Sports Nutritionists, Endocrinologists, Specialist Doctors, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Osteopaths. Our Elite Trainers
Dan Roberts has personally selected and trained up a small team of expert trainers that work for him. All our Personal Trainers have been through the ‘Dan Roberts Elite Training System’ which takes months of study and adhere to Dan’s strict standards of professionalism and discretion. Starting at £65 per hour, we have different price levels of trainer due to their different levels of experience and success prior to working for us. About Dan Roberts
Dan first qualified as a Tennis coach back in 1993. For several years after he built up his skills as a sports coach. By the time Dan graduated from university he had amassed thousands of hours of coaching (in Tennis and also Lacrosse) with various teams and clubs in the UK and USA. In 2001 Dan qualified as a Personal Trainer and set up Dan Roberts Training soon after. He has lived full-time as a Personal Trainer in Sydney, Rio de Janeiro and New York and is now based in central London. His current clients include Princesses, Athletes, Fashion Models, Hollywood Actors, renowned business leaders and public figures. Dan has also been hired as a private Mentor to other 50 fitness professionals including Celebrity Personal Trainers and Strength & Conditioning Coaches. Dan constantly features in the national press as a fitness expert and is also a Fitness Journalist, a Fitness Presenter, a fitness industry Tutor & Assessor, on the expert panel for Women’s Running magazine, a consulting expert to a current Channel 4 TV series, and consultant and Trainer to one of the most reputable fashion modeling agencies in the world. Dan also wrote the UK’s first nationally accredited Muay Thai Instructor qualification and is commissioned to write a new series of advanced exercise and sports specific coaching qualifications for Personal Trainers. “My Personal Training philosophy is truly holistic. My coaching adapts to my clients needs. I dip into the varied techniques and philosophies of Bodybuilding, Athletics, Martial Arts, Nutritional Coaching, Plyometrics, Yoga, Power Lifting, Corrective Functional Exercise, Lifestyle Coaching, Running, Pilates and various activities/sports such as Boxing, Parkour and Rock Climbing. My coaching style is firm yet empathetic! I believe that to be a great coach, one can’t just rely on studies alone – one must truly feel what it’s like to be a client , i.e. to train hard, learn new skills and to regularly step out of one’s comfort zone. (With this in mind, I have competed in ultra marathons, ran sub 35 minute 10k’s, had professional Thai kick-boxing fights in Thailand, represented England at the world Inter-Lacrosse championships and beaten a sub 400 world ranked Tennis Player during a tournament in New York.) I sincerely believe that we are all ‘athletes’ deep down and being fit, able and full of energy is our body’s natural state. As a Personal Trainer my focus is always to quickly help you reach your specific goals, but I also have a responsibility to remind you of what your body can do and how amazing it is when you respect and challenge it.
