The Warrior Holiday

Do you want to train like Rocky?!

This is your chance to experience a week as a warrior. This holiday is tough! Yes, you will stay in a luxury hotel, yes you will eat great food and have the highest quality of service,  but you will be pushed hard, just like a warrior preparing to battle. You will be taught how to Thai Kick Box and physically ‘conditioned’ just like a Professional Cage Fighter.  You will endure 35 hours of expert personal coaching in just one week. You will to be pushed to your limit and beyond!

The focus of this holiday is  to teach your how to fight and how to train like a pro athlete/fighter. You will also learn about new training systems, nutrition and the psychology of being a warrior!. The sample programme below was used by Dan Roberts for an Actor preparing for a movie role, now we adjust the daily activities to suit your ability and needs. This holiday is available for either a man or woman (or 2 people  together) and is suitable for those who already train regularly in the gym. Martial Arts or Boxing skills are not necessary.

 

The warrior Daily Training Schedule

  • Day 1 -  Learning to Box. You will be woken up with a knock on your hotel door bright and early at 8am for dynamic stretch and a long beach run, sprinting on sand dunes , racing your Trainer..this will be a fun start to quite a technical day. After a fresh fruit breakfast it’s time to start learning the technical side of Boxing. For the next 2 hours your will be coached on jabs, hooks, upper cuts. Focusing on footwork, movement and timing you will soon see a huge improvement. After lunch you will learn about defending and evading attack using ducks, slips and dodges. Finally in the evening after dinner, you will learn about counter attacks.
  • Day 2 – MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Conditioning. Today is split into 2 x 3 hour sessions. The first session you will learn and use the TRX and Kettlebells. These  are 2 excellent conditioning tools, developing core strength power, endurance and functional fitness. The second session will be focused on power development using Plyometrics and Medicine balls.
  • Day 3 – Bangkok Fight Club – Learn Muay Thai. Using authentic Thai teaching methods you will spend the whole day from 8am till 6pm Thai kick boxing. You will learn kicks, elbows, grappling, knees. The style of the session keeps to the authentic ‘Thai fight camp ‘experience., so in-between countless rounds with pads you’ll be doing 100′s of press ups, sit ups and squat thrusts.
  • Day 4  – MMA Circuit Training. Today is the hard day. A beach run and light Sparring in both boxing and Muay Thai proceeds our 15 minute our special ‘Extreme warrior Circuit’  You will do 10 sets of this circuit. This may take  just a few hours., or all day! After, you are free to explore or rest by the pool.
  • Day 5 – Self defense / Street Fighting. Building on your Boxing and Muay Thai skills, you will learn some moves from Ninjitsu and Krav Maga and have a master class on fight psychology. You will then have a long session of defense worry, you will be hit – but not hard! as the only way of controlling adrenaline and remaining calm under pressure is to be increasingly exposed to it. By the end of the day you will feel a new sense of confidence that you can not only attack in numerous ways but remain calm and relaxed when you are attacked.
  • Day 6 – Pre Fight Conditioning. Today you will be trained exactly like a professional cage fighter. 6 hours of focus pads, conditioning work, power lifting, rotational strength. You will be done by 5pm. The evening you will be taken out to local restaurant – our treat. (NO DRINKING!)
  • Day 7Final session. Your flight will be in the late afternoon. The morning will be spent doing an epic long run with your Trainer. depending on your fitness levels, this may be  a 10k or a half marathon.

Food and supplements

You will be on a strict diet – Whichever location you choose (Miami, LA, Rio or Marrakesh) you will have a choice of restaurants both at the hotel and within walking distance to your hotel. You will be provided with menu options from each of these. Your optimal protein, carbohydrate, fat, salt, vitamin and antioxidant levels will be taken into account. You will also be given daily sports supplements and taught the why’s what’s and when’s of sports nutrition, hydration and supplementation.

To help you price it…below displays the full cost of coaching for the week. (1) denotes the total coaching cost for one person, (2) denotes the total coaching cost of 2 people.

  • Option 1 – An Elite Coach (1) £4,500, (2) £5,000 – Pick one of our experienced Elite Coaches – trained up by Dan.
